De luchtkoeler<\/h2>\n

Dit is een ventilator die een blok ijs of ijsblokjes gebruikt om koelere lucht dan de omgevingslucht te blazen. In tegenstelling tot een airconditioner hoeft er geen uitlaatpijp in een opening gemonteerd te worden, dus hij kan vrij van de ene naar de andere kamer verplaatst worden. Een ander opmerkelijk voordeel is dat hij geen schadelijke gassen uitstoot. Bovendien verbruikt de gebruikte technologie heel weinig energie, dus hij is zuinig.<\/p>\n

De mobiele airconditioner<\/h2>\n

Een mobiele unit is een goed compromis om een kamer te koelen tegen lage kosten en af en toe tijdens een hittegolf. Uitgerust met wieltjes en handvaten kan hij gemakkelijk verplaatst worden van de woonkamer naar de slaapkamer en opgeborgen worden voor de rest van het jaar. Hij bestaat uit \u00e9\u00e9n unit en vereist geen installatie, behalve een flexibel kanaal dat in een deuropening of raam kan worden geplaatst om warme lucht en vochtigheid te laten ontsnappen.<\/p>\n

De blaasloze plafondventilator<\/h2>\n

Omdat de luchtverfrisser water gebruikt, is regelmatig onderhoud essentieel. Het waterreservoir en het filter moeten regelmatig worden schoongemaakt en het bevochtigingskussen moet elk jaar worden vervangen om de opbouw van bacteri\u00ebn en kalkaanslag te voorkomen.<\/p>\n

Hoeveel vermogen?<\/h3>\n

De oppervlakte van de te koelen ruimte vertelt je hoeveel vermogen je nodig hebt, uitgedrukt in watt (W) en British Thermal Units (BTU). Je moet rekening houden met 100 tot 130 W per vierkante meter (voor een plafondhoogte van 2,50 m). In equivalente termen is 1 W = 3,4 BTU – de term BTU wordt vaker gebruikt door fabrikanten, terwijl watt meer bekend is bij consumenten.<\/p>\n

Comfort bij aankomst<\/h3>\n

Mobiele airconditioners kunnen meestal op afstand worden geprogrammeerd en bediend met een afstandsbediening of een smartphone.
