Air speed

Thanks to its 3 patents, the Exhale fan delivers a uniform air speed throughout the room, regardless of your position in relation to the fan.

With a fan with blades, there is a high intensity of air speed directly underneath (which can even be annoying in use – leaves and hair flying), however, as soon as you move away, you have dead zones without air speed.

News about Exhale ceiling fans

Exhale and CPAM Annecy 5th in the French Energy Savings Championship

Exhale was chosen by the Annecy CPAM to improve summer and winter comfort for users and employees.
Around 50 EXHALE ceiling fans have been deployed in the CPAM.
The CPAM took part in the French energy-saving championship and finished 5th.
Other collaborations are underway with the CPAM. The Isère CPAM (Grenoble 38) is also equipping itself with Exhale ceiling fans.

Exhale ventilator installed at the CPAM

Exhale bladeless ceiling fans have been installed at Nantes Atlantique Airport for the comfort of passengers.

We are delighted to have supplied Exhale fans for the bedrooms and living areas of the Apparts Hotels Stay City Wilde in Berlin. A total of 101 fans were installed.

South-facing facades with no sunshades, courtyards with no shade… This is a common sight in many schools in Marseille (France), including some recently built ones. At Jean-Fiolle primary schools (6th arrondissement), rebuilt in 2008, the local council presented the first phase of its plan to protect pupils from the heat on Wednesday. “Based on feedback from staff and parents, we have identified around a hundred hot spots”, explained Pierre-Marie Ganozzi, deputy mayor responsible for schools.

Ceiling fans have been installed in the ceiling of a classroom at the Fiolle school. The school is one of the pilot schools in the city of Marseille’s heatwave plan.

“I’m almost cold”, Pierre-Marie-Ganozzi half-jokes. The deputy mayor of Marseille, responsible for the school plan and school buildings, appreciates the difference in temperature between outside and inside the Fiolle school (6th arrondissement). Built 15 years ago in the heart of the city, the sun beats down on this school in March.

Since 1 January 2022, the construction of collective housing and individual houses are now subject to the new standards of the RE2020. So much so that in Zone H3 H2D, if the dwelling is not through, it is almost impossible to be RE2020 compliant without installing ceiling fans. Find out how Exhale ceiling fans can help you reduce DH and improve your Cep, (nr).

Ceiling fans are a simple solution to implement but they must comply with the NF EN CEI 60335-2-80 standard which imposes 2m30 of height under blades (distance between the floor and the blades) for safety. As a result, the thickness of the air curtain is limited to 20 cm under the blades for ceiling heights (standard) of 2.5 m. Exhale is an ultra-flat and flush ceiling fan. It is quite simply the flattest air blower on the market with 16 cm under the blades!

The Exhale ceiling fan is also a tool for reducing air conditioning and heating costs thanks to its efficiency in air mixing (air speed) and destratification. It is a solution for reducing energy costs that can be used all year round.

Rods & accessories

1 – Extensible rods

To save installers time, we have developed special fixing rods.
These allow false ceilings to be eliminated and the concrete to be fetched by compensating for the plenum with a rod.
They eliminate the need to fit 4 threaded rods when installing the fan.
This saves the installer precious time during installation.

We offer 5 models of fixing rods:

  • Extendable and tiltable 30 to 40 cm rod (to compensate for the slope of a ceiling of up to 45 degrees) (sloping or sloping ceilings)
  • 30 to 40 cm non-tilting and extendable rod
  • 40 to 60 cm non-tilting and extendable rod
  • 60 to 90 cm non-tilting and extendable rod
  • 90 to 110 cm non-tilting and extendable rod

2 – Wall switches

The wall-mounted switches can be used to control up to 7 fans in the same room simultaneously.

Wall-mounted remote control (radio frequency) with 220V power supply (wired).
Battery-powered wall-mounted remote control (radio frequency).

These remote controls can be fitted with a surface-mounted frame (optional) to make them easier to install.

Choose the 360°solution

Exhale Fans Europe is distributing bladeless, silent and design Exhale Fans Allover Europe since its creation in 2016. The Exhale Fans are also distributed worlwide (from Usa to middle east and many countries in Asia Pacific). Exhale spreads the air at 360° Exhale was designed and engineered by a former US Air Force Pilot. He inspired himself from the Nikola Tesla bladeless turbine and manage to create a unique and very innovative ceiling fan. Exhale is the first bladeless ceiling fan. The fan is stirring and spreading air in the entire room. Unlike traditional ceiling fans that only stirr air below them, the exhale fans spreads the air at 360 degrees in the room. The air below the fan is sucked into the Exhale (through a vortex effect) and then sent in every directions around the fans. An innovative device to refresh the room Generation after generation, the Exhale fan is improve to become more efficient and silent.

Environment and sustainable development (RE2012 / RE2020)

Choosing a bladeless ceiling fan is also a militant act to reduce energy costs, both for summer comfort and winter comfort. In fact, Exhale fans reduce the energy bills of both heating devices (winter comfort) and air conditioning devices (summer comfort). The bladeless ceiling fan also allows you to earn points to meet the prerequisites of the RE 2012 but also of the RE 2020. The Exhale fan consumes little energy while offering great energy efficiency by distributing heat better from the floor to the ceiling (delamination) or by ventilating the entire room at 360 degrees to improve quality of life.It can be combined with heating systems in winter and air conditioning in summer. This results in significant energy savings. Choosing Exhale promotes sustainable and reasoned development.

Exhale Fans features

1. Design: innovative and elegant, clean spherical line, invisible screws, … 2. Safe: the absence of blades prevents any risk of hitting the upper limbs. 3. Suitable for working environment: leaves and hair do not fly, the absence of rotating blades helps to maintain people’s concentration. 4. Optimizes delamination: all occupants benefit from the same comfort conditions, thanks to a homogenized air flow. 5. Allows energy savings: balanced temperature in the room, in summer and winter comfort mode. Both heat and cold are better distributed, and the start of air conditioning is delayed in mid-season. At low speed, consumes 4 watts (10 to 20 times less than a conventional bulb). 6. More effective than traditional ceiling fans: volume of air treated by a single larger fan (up to 150m3), so less devices can be installed in the same volume. 7. Silent: No friction of the blades in the air (brushless motor), sound volume remains between 35 and 40db. 8. Frees up space on the ceiling: compact, it has a diameter of 86.4 cm and 18 cm thickness; ideal for low ceilings. 9. Comfortable lighting: in addition to its integrated dimmable LED solutions, it avoids the stroboscopic effect of paddle fans in the event of additional lighting. 10. Long-term warranty: the fan is entirely guaranteed for 5 years.

Ventilating residential buildings, administrative, industrial, or commercial spaces is a major challenge under RE2020 and the 2035 tertiary decree. The benefits are numerous: occupant comfort, air destratification, reduced DH (degree-hours), energy savings, improved heating performance and air conditioning (industrial destratifier), fast return on investment, and environmental compliance… The industrial ceiling fan is increasingly recommended by new regulations and design offices. It is efficient, quiet, cost-effective, and easy to install.

How does a ceiling fan work?

Unlike a bladed fan, the EXHALE ceiling fan is capable of creating a vortex effect and ventilating 360 degrees. The air is circulated in a swirling motion. The ceiling fan is particularly suitable for ventilating individual or multi-unit housing, workspaces, offices, schools, or daycare centers. In warm conditions, the airflow helps lower the perceived temperature by several degrees. In winter, air circulation helps equalize the room temperature. Warm air tends to rise while cooler air remains near the floor. The ceiling fan can therefore effectively balance the temperature between floor and ceiling by destratifying the air, optimizing both heating and air conditioning systems.

Why choose a bladeless ceiling fan?

Unique and patented, the bladeless ceiling fan is installed on the ceiling. Its operation is particularly innovative: it draws in the air below and redistributes it evenly at 360 degrees throughout the room, creating a subtle and comfortable enveloping airflow.

Quiet and energy-efficient, the ceiling fan also enhances safety. The absence of blades eliminates the risk of injury to occupants.

Professionals: choose efficient and high-quality ventilation for your spaces

The bladeless fan is designed for large-volume air movement. It is particularly well suited for residential buildings, offices, retail spaces, activity areas, and public facilities (classrooms, daycare centers, multipurpose halls).

Exhale is the flattest fan on the market and complies with standard 60335-2-80 regarding the minimum height of 2.30 m below blades. Its sleek, ultra-flat design and discreet appearance are appreciated by hotel and restaurant operators who aim to provide the best thermal environment for their customers.

In nursing homes, daycare centers, or schools, the ceiling fan is highly suitable. Its airflow breeze is comfortable and far less aggressive than the direct airflow from a bladed fan.

The professional ceiling fan helps reduce humidity and prevent mold growth. This is one of the reasons it is widely appreciated by gym and fitness center operators.

Managers of public-access facilities choose bladeless ceiling fans to control their energy bills while eliminating blade-related risks. Hospitals, administrative centers, airport waiting areas, and museums can thus provide visitors and staff with a balanced temperature and a healthy indoor environment year-round.

In offices, factories, and workshops, the efficient and quiet ventilation provided by the ceiling-mounted fan helps maintain employee comfort and supports the proper operation of machinery and IT equipment (especially server rooms).

Good to know: installing a ceiling fan significantly improves degree-hours (DH) under the new environmental regulation RE2020 and helps achieve energy savings in line with the 2035 tertiary decree.
